Animated Avatars

Is there any special rules (other than size) for adding animated avatars?

I uploaded one yesterday (approx 27k & 147x110 pixies) but it hasn't worked.

It does show, just not animated.. Any ideas?

Just pixel size and file size - max 150x100 and 50Kb. - so with it being 110 on one side it probably isn't accepting it.

Used MS animated GIF editor and it does show ok in a browser..

EDIT. I used the same one to redo my signature...

Just edited my post, as I realised it would be due to the pixel size.

That's better - Thanks.. I did notice the sizing limit but when it uploaded I thought it must be ok as it didn't give me an error and was showing (just without the animation)..

It's easy m8 (as long as you stick to the dimension and size limit)..

Download a copy of MS Gif Animator (google)

Create some pics (again using the correct size )

Add the pics in the order you want, add some delay between frames and Loop it forever..

Simple.. Have a go...
