    Default Headlight bulbs again (sorry)

Driving home from work last night, the passenger side headlight bulb went. That's ok I thought, I'll change it at work tomorrow.
Got to the car this morning, the ferkin driver side has given up had to drive to work with sidelights & foglights.

Sorry if this is yet another headlight bulb thread, but what do people find are the best bulbs for headlights?

I have tried Phillips blue vision, and they were quite good, at the moment I have some Osram 90% brighter ones and they are a bit brighter, but I would not say they are 90% brighter, what I would say is go for a well know make they might last longer , but I don,t think there is such thing as a " super must have" bulb out there.

I've got the Philips x-treme +80% just now. They're not bad.

As Ed has said Ian, go for a known brand and make sure you don't leave finger prints on the bulb when fitting as this will make it blow quicker.

I've fitted Philips X-treme's to all my past cars and thought they were ok.
