Finance Companies

Anyone know if finance companies let you change the date payments get taken from the bank?

Mine are due to start on the 16th and continue on a monthly basis, although i don't get paid until the last banking day of the month.

Basically i was planning on phoning them to ask if they could change the payment date starting in January.

I think you can after you have made the first paymemt, GE Capital let me do it in February this year.

think some can change the date to the 1st of every mounth

I get paid on the 15th and I have never had a problem changing my payment dates to co-incide.

Would it be best to phone before or after the first payment?

The next one wouldn't be till the 15th of january

Phone them now, however I think the first payment will still go through on the agreed date though, but you should be able to change any dates after that.
