    Default Heater Help PLEASE!!

    Hi Guys

    Today at 6am seemed like the coldest day ever! got into the car and guess what decided not to work? the heater!!
    Spent the 80 mile drive to work around the M25 freezing..... any suggestions on what to look for/do?

    The guage on the small screen with the radio display? yes it was reading -3 then -1 when i got to work.

    no the one in the dash, indicating water temp, should sit about 85-87 degrees ish when up to temp

    When I finish work in the early hours and the brass monkeys are about,I usually turn on the re circ button so the same air is being warmed up,found it warms up a lot quicker...but you have to blast the screen now and again to keep clear.

    it does work, but its very intermittent

    I started this morning by pressing the screen button and noticed nothing was happening. its usally like a gale force wind on the screen. It was then i put the blower on number 4. nothing happend. whats strange is when i was driving home from work yesterday it was all fine.

    Just checked the fuse box and all seems fine. the lights are turning on when i press them (air con and window blower) but thats all that happens.
    I removed the fuse and these lights stop.

    Unfortunately these lights just dont chuck out enough heat on these cold winter mornings

    if it doesn't blow on number 4 ( no resisitor in the curciut) then it points to either fan motor or switch panel....

    Have a look in the how-2 section to see how to access the fan to test it..
