    Default oil change 2.0dti

what oil could i use for my 2003 53 diesel vectra 2.0 DTI.i see all different types in the shop and petrol station.
I also went to motorworld and they wanted £44.99 for 4 litres plus £15.99 for the extra bottles, which i may need 2. which comes to around £76.00

Then i need the filter as well

You need 5.5 litres for a 2.0DTi. I used Magnatec GTX Diesel 10W40 in mine, no bother at all.

PS to ZS, i used to use Magnatec in my veccy b, but found it was very treacle like when cold, also heard some scare stories about it ( dont know how true they are tho ), mine was ok on it but my mechanic said it was overpriced carp and to use normal semi synthetic because it was much better.

thanx!! for the info went to vauxhall and got some GM Semi-synthetic 10-40 cost:

    filter:£8.40

    engine oil:£21.80 (5litres)
    total goods=30.38
