    Default LED sidelight question AGAIN!!!

Right, just got me HID kit fitted today from the group buy and its SUPERB!!!

However, even though the sidelights I have in there just now are "supposed" to be "ice white", compared to the HID's they look awfuly yellow.

I recall someone posting here a while back about LED sidelights available somewhere that did not trigger the bulb warning system. No idea how they got around it, must have some sort of resistors built in I would guess?.

Anyone know of who supplies them as I've lost the link to the thread?.

The only thing I can remember about the guy who supplied them was that I think his name was Steven????.

Found a thread that I posted in myself regarding this:-

    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...ght=sidelights

Its a guy on VVOC called Crazy LED's who supplies them. He's registered here on the forums as well, will try PM'ing him.

Danlat.....found a link you had posted about the sidelights you got to compliment your HID kit:-

    http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/other-products.html

What bulbs did you get from that page, there are a few different types?.

    Ta.

Don't know about LED sidelights, but HID Direct can do a set of sidelights that are superwhite as I've got them. The ones at the top of the page linky

Yeah Mark, think I'm gonna go with them.

To fit LED's as far as I know, there is still a need to faff about with resistors and I cant be bothered with the hassle of that.

Although I'm wondering if anyone has tried Crazyleds's ones in a Vec-C yet?.

No.....but I've got Philips Bluevision sidelights. The bulbs are blue but the light they give off is crystal white. And a fraction of the price of others too

If you've got HID's then the only option you've got is the MTEC version. I had the Philips bluevision in mine until recently and they were better than standard ones but are still far from being white when compared with HID's. MTEC on the other hand are fantastic.
    I can definately recommend them.

Yep, will be ordering a set of MTEC sidelights tomorrow from Martin.

Will take a few pics of the HID's tomorrow evening at work and post them up.
