    Default Fog light misted up!

Anyone know if this is a common problem? One side ok but the other seems to be permanently full of condensation. Presume if it's a fault, it would be replaced under warranty/ or Network Q?

    Cheers

Have the same problem myself, there are a lot of posts about this issue on the forum. It is something to do with the fact the water bottle sits above this fog lamp.

From what I understand is if you turn your fog lamps on and it clear within 20 minutes the garage will not consider it to be faulty.

Just noticed today I am getting a lot of conisation in my main headlight casings as well (On both sides) which is a little more worrying

yea, i've had small amounts of misting up in one of my headlamps a while ago but it cleared itself, not nice to look at and as you say, a bit worrying.

I ended up taking mine off, drying thoroughly with a hair drier, and it's not misted up since.

Couldn't for the life of me figure out how the water got in (when I took the bottom cover off approx an egg cup full draind out). I even submerged it in a bucket of water for 10 mins and no water got in. Perhaps whatever seal was leaking beforehand, stopped after I had taken what I could apart.

Over filling the washer bottle, is a good cause of it.

Had my nearside foglight replaced under warranty last week.
This a common problem, I just told them that despite having used the lamp reguarly with the recent bad weather it was still misted up, he said 'well it is a fog lamp'...(no he didnt I'm being ironic!)
They changed it for a nice new one!
