Haven't been on the forum for a couple of months now, so making a return

I've been working at Vauxhall for a couple of months now at their head office in Luton. Pretty cool company to work for, definitely has its perk and if you love vauxhall or cars in general then you'd love it here! My best perk so far has got to be being driven around the oval track at Mill Brook (Remember the scene where the Aston Martin in Casino Royale flips over? That was filmed at MillBrook!) in a Vauxhall Monaro at 155mph!

Anyway, if you have any specific Vx questions or if I can help the forum community in any way then I'll do my best!

hi faz not sure if you can help but worth a try, i bought a car from evans halshaw in wigan greater manchester and i left a £50 deposit to take it of sale, refundable on completion.
completed the sale and paid the asking price and they said my £50 would be refunded,well 3 weeks on and they have given every silly exscuse in the book but still i havnt received it. i have had to go to my county court and file a claim against them so they are dealing with it now.

my question is who is the best person/department to complain to about them because im sure whoever works in accounts or the salesman who sold me the car dont care or they would of refunded me by now but im sure someone with more authority would be intrested to hear whats been going on.

they have lost alot of business because of a measley £50 because i and anyone who has read my posts about evans halshaw wigan im sure will be going elsewhere.
i dont think the salesman or there acounts care just as long as they are getting paid at the end of the day i think thats all they are concerned about and the whole evans halshaw dealership needs a big kick in the bol***ks from someone who carries some weight in the company.
a long thread i know but i hate penny pinching, incompetent companys like these any help appreciated faz,cheers mark.

Welcome back. I think you will have your work cur out answering questions form the members of the site.
I have one that a lot of us would like to find an answer to. I have a 3.2 V6 elite. I did not have the TC switch, But fitted one myself, it does not switch off the TC [ as it should if it was working or standard, as on the 3.2 GSI]. I wondered if there is a way of activating a non working TC switch. cheers.

My turn 55 plate facelift 1.9CDTi [150] estate.... I had to take my car into the dealers the other day, and while it was there they updated the DPF regeneration software (after I specifically asked them not to...). I've got a remap, and while the car isn't back to standard, it doesn't feel right at all. Could you find out whether they would have done a complete software upgrade or they possibly just updated the DPF?

Like others have said I think Faz is going to have his work cut out but I wonder what the possibility would be of an official question and answer session with a Representative from VX?

I've taken part in a few associated with my Avatar including one with the G.B. Team Manager.

Certainly helps to clear the air.

Not deriding your efforts Faz, I just think you may be inundated. It's really a point for next time.
