Default how hard can it be to put air in your tyre?

what a ******* nightmare, warning came up on the dash, saying air pressure 36.9psi, so pulled into sainsburys, got the air line adjust accordingly, put it on the valve and snap, the stupid valve snapped in the nozzle of the air gun, but thats not all ....
get the spare out the boot, followed by the jack and the tyre iron,
    undo one wheel nut fine
2nd one the tyre iron didnt fit
    3rd didnt fit
    4th didnt fit
    5th didnt fit
wtf is going on? must off been made on a friday afternoon shift
rang my dad to come bring my socket set, finally get everything sorted

i advise anyone who hasn't used the tyre iron yet try it soon lol

I remember once about 4 years ago, i have a Volvo V40 and I hit a pothole and the tyre blew. I managed to get all the bolts out but the wheel was stuck to the disc with rust and age.
It was absolutly hissing it down, I had to jack the car down and use the weight of the car and the steering to try and force the wheel of the car! That was a nervous moment. That did not work, so i lost my rag and threw the spare wheel at the tyre and the popped off.

Similar happened to me on a 15 month old VW Golf I owned - found I had a flat when I came out of the office, called VW assistance who came out and it took him 30 minutes of kicking and using a mallett on the wheel to get it off. He then said that this was quite a frequent occurrence, so much so that VW had stipulated that on a service each wheel should be removed and cleaned to prevent it happening.

They then wrote to me about 10 days later saying that the VW assistance only covered flat tyres / wheel changes in the first 12 months, and asked me to pay £99 for the call out. I got in touch with them and said that I had asked at the time whether it was covered in my case and was told it was. They found the record of my call and, as it had been recorded, heard the guy tell me it was, so they cancelled the bill!!!
