forced night off!!

Small bonus (but does have a down side) just had a phone call to say the computer system has had a major failure for the company that I sub contract for so I get the night off (paid as well!!)no loads moving out of one of the main depots
can't remember the last Friday I have not worked!!
only problem is I have to work Sunday night to help clear the backlog!!
so I am lost now as don't know what to do used to going to bed now!!
might have to wander out to the pub tonight then (if I'm allowed!!)

Doesn't having to wrk Sunday cause of no fault of your own mean you get double time? I should hope so or else I'd rather make a point and tell em it's their problem, I've had Friday off at you expense, deal with it.

I am a self employed owner driver mate but don,t worry they will be an increase in the rate for Sunday,I had planned on a bit of a booze up as well as its the last Blackburn match I can get to this year as I am spending xmas in Bristol with family and will miss the Chelsea match!!

hi mate no the magnum has gone after to many repair bills!!
got this Daf 95 XF now and has just been resprayed
