I get it back today - needed the whole offside respraying after some git keyed it.
I've had a 1.8 in the mean time - gutless!!!

GRRR!! You can't have anything nice these days without some little towrag going and spoiling it. It really
makes my blood boil to see something like this happen.

It'll be nice to get the 2.2 back after the 1.8, although you're quite lucky to get another vectra, a lad at work took
his 2.2 into the dealers and got a 1.0 corsa. They had his car for over a week aswell, he wasn't a happy bunny.

by that do you mean that the revers is bottom right rather then top left, thats cause your SRi has 6 speed, the 1.8 has 5. My sri 2.2 direct is pre facelfit, it only has 5 gears as well
oh well, i console myself that according to parkers the facelift 2.2 is longer to 60. why? that extra gear, means an extra change that adds time to your 60 sprint :P

as for the car, when some c*** hit my veccy all i got from tesco was a daewoo matiz. 2.2 to a 900cc. fall from grace or what?
