    Default nearly out of warranty

hi guys, just wondered if you had any ideas on the following:
My car is a 2005 Vectra SRi 2.2. nav DIRECT. I braught it from a used car dealer in 2006 at 10 months old. It was registered March 2005.

I have several problems with the car:
    1) Fog lights get condensation in them.
    2) left mirros control adjusts left mirror, right setting adjusts BOTH mirrors.
    3) Album change / cd/radio buttons on wheel get mixed up some times ( sports wheel / cd70 navi )
    4) next track button will sometimes go BACk a track.

and the car has just started to make really unerving metal on metal BANG noise from rear suspension ( no regular / intermittent )

In your opinion, where will i stand with these issues and my local vauxhall dealer REF warrenty.
    Many thanks
    Karlos

believe it or not, its meant to. It means (apparently) if you are dropping the mirrors for reversing then both do the same. Personally I think its a stupid idea but hey ho.....

The stereo controls sound like a dodgy connector, I would have them checked by the dealer.

Condensation in the fog lights is purely down to badly sealed units, hard to claim on under warranty as all you will get is that it is due to stone chipping etc....

    best of luck

When I took my bumper off I just took the backing off the fog and turned them on for half an hour then resealed them tightly. Never fogged up since.

It's not so much for that - reversing - its so that once you've set them up you then just push the rocker switch left or right, if you move the seat, and the mirrors will both move in our out at the same time.

Karlos - what you do is push in the right button and adjust the driver mirror to where you want it, ignore what the passenger mirror is doing. Then push in the left button and adjust the passenger mirror to suit. Now push in the right button. From now on if you move the seat, you will be able to push either the left or right rocker switch and the mirrors will move together to the right adjustment. That's the theory, and once you're used to it's actually not so bad.

    cheers guys!!!
It actually makes perfect sense now ( mirrors ), and is pretty much how i was getting round it!
My biggest concern is the suspension - will they sting me like a beeatch for it or will the warrenty cover it?
    Thanks Again

Have you looked at the rear springs to make sure one hasn't broken? Does the back end feel very wallowy? Give the back end a bounce test to see if it all settles quickly. The Vectra C is known to eat rear shocks, so they may say it's wear and tear. If it's a broken spring then that should definitely be under warranty.

Either way, get them to give the rear suspension a good looking over as most problems they may uncover should be covered.
