Eek Engine Problems again Spanner and juddering !

My orange spanner keeps flashing on and off and the car feels like its miss firing very badly.. but it cant be because its a diesel 1.9 cdti.. hmm I got my little CAN reader and plugged it in and it said..

P0302.. Circuit Open 3 cylinder injector

Any help on this one guys ? I'm assuming its a fault with one of my injectors... or maybe the sensor ? Is this common and can I maybe swap stuff round to double check.. ie swap injector 2 and 3 about and see if the code shifts over ?

o.. yeah and which end do you count the cylinders from ?

thanks and keeping my fingers x'd someone can help me.

    Steve

how old is your car ?
there is a field remedy for early 1.9's where you change the multi plugs on the injectors.
the injectors are coded to each cylinder by the way

    sorry m8, missed your post..

    Car 04 1.9 cdti Design 150 - 51k

well after having a little more time and doing a bit of reading.. I have just come back in from looking at my car.. O.. I should of guessed really

    Yet another 1.9 cdti 150 fault !!!!

    pic's here...

It appears its the swirl control rod (effects torque at low rev's). As I've always thought the car was gutless at low revs I'm presuming this was always faulty.. even when I bought the car.. Also I'm guessing one of the connections is at fault as well.

So what now.. I'm thinking get it in VX for a quote and also contact VX customer service about this 'known' fault and also send watchdog a letter explaining that I'm not alone !

anyone care to add there name to the list ?

    Steve
