    its not stupid - any car can go faster than the wheel is rated so it doesnt matter what the model is.

    Sorry to hear that.

    It's just a pity you have not got any spare alloys laid around with new tyres on

    Could 'ave bin worse, like my pal who hit a curb that was higher than his spoiler too !

    Well, good news is no damage to the alloy, so just 2 new 225/45 Vredestein Ultracs fitted for 105 squid each.

    Bad news, they'd picked up on the fact that they'd only charged me for one tyre the last time I was there in August and had two fitted, so requested I pay for that one to. Fair play, they were charging it at todays price which is a bit cheaper than it was then, and threw in the tracking check and adjustment for free as I'd agreed straight off to pay for what I owed them, and as it's the only place locally I can get these tyres and it's a small local business it only seemed fair...

    All in all, not too bad, but still 300 quid I hadn't wanted to spend this month of all months....
