    Not a failure.

This is a feature of the car to get the passenger mirror to move in sync with drivers. You will notice that when drivers move 'out' so does passengers etc.

I actually quite like this "feature", it's handy for reversing when you want to get close to the kerb without that awful scraping sound.

My car goes back to Vaux to sort this mirror issue out..
When i purchased the car one mirror moved at a time, over time both mirrors move when i select the drivers mirror?
How can this be called a feature,l move the drivers mirror cause i cant see properly, the passengers mirrors moves with it also so then i have to re-adjust the passengers mirror because i can no longer see out of it.
Why have a selector for passanger/drivers mirror when they both move together??

It's so when the wife gets in and moves the seat forwards she moves the drivers mirror to see what's behind her. (some actually do ) The passenger side moves exactly the same amount. When you get in and move the seat and mirrors back (because women never do) it's much easier only having to move the one side.
It would be far more hassle moving both individually. Once they are set up they should not need re-adjusting
