    confused chrome plating ?????

    can anyone recomend or does any one here do chrome plating, i have a few bit's i want doing

    Depending on what it is, you may find that a normal industrial plater will be just as good a bet as any automotive specific ones.

    I needed something chromed yonks ago (not car stuff) and just found one in Yellow Pages.

    had look localy and on the tinterweb, sent e-mail's and made phone call's but no luck yet mate, so i thought i would ask on here as i am at a bit of a stop now

    Blimey, I thought there would be a few in that area.

    The place I used was up in the NE (Middlesbrough). Did a cracking job, but it's probably a bit far? They'll even do things by post/courier - just depends on size and weight as to what it'll cost you. <sits back waiting for him to say it's a set of wheels!> lol

    halfords ripspeed stores do a chrome plating service, they can also do carbon fibre effect or any colour you want with a dipping tank, don`t know how hard wearing it is though ?

    and that i think is the problem with company's not being able to help out, although i have just e-mailed a custom chrome place that specialises in automotive part's
