    Default Insurance quotes

I'm looking around trying to find the cheapest quote for my renewal and was wondering wether i have to declare the accident that happened.

Non-fault settled with damage totalling less than £200 on my car.

My current insurer have allowed me to keep my NCB but i'm not sure wether it still counts as a claim.

yes you should tell them, if you dont and you later have the misfortune to make a claim and they find out they may invalidate your claim

Quinn quoted me £1064 fully comp with the claim and the same without it.

Churchill quoted me £1500 fully comp with the claim.

Be very careful when trying to keep claims hidden from insurance companies. They'll do everything they can to avoid paying claims so it's best to be honest and bite the bullet. Trust me on this, I speak as someone who used to work for a large insurance company that begins with Z and is based in Switzerland!!!

just tell them.. non fault claim, shouldnt cause too much hassle non fault claim, and 200 quid of damage is nowt... didnt they jusy pay you instead or did their insurance cover it or something?..
    personally wouldnt claim for £200..
was even thinking of payin for my respray myself the first time but just couldnt afford the £800 odd quid for the near side and bonnet
luckily now, the whole car is being done so all is a bonus!

Their insurance settled it all. Didn't find out the final cost but the repairs to my car were just over £180

    £1064

I've just had a quote to add our youngest to my insurance and also a completely new quote with him as named driver and it's a lot less than that. He is not 17 until next week.
