Worst Squirties EVER!

Is it me, or has the Vec got THE WORST windscreen squirty-ma-jigs EVER?!

I'm talking modern cars, not F-Reg fiestas (although my F-Reg Fiesta had better squirties than this hump-of-junk)

VX - must do better!

I had them unblocked last uear becuase they stop completely, now the roads are wet and mucky again I use them quite a bit on the way to and from work.....and at 50mph+ or with a slight side wind, or a passing lorry, they just don't squirt higher than the windscreen wipers themselves!!!

Anyway - nothing I can do about it I dont think - unless its the washer pumps?!

my front ones are fine.....The rear seams to squirt straight down the join between the roof and the boot

I think you might have a blockage again....quick tip is to cut the bottom of the rubber filter off...did mine last year and haven't had a problem since.

mine are ace. Maybe a blockage in the pump pick up or lines?
Are they adjusted properly?

I have to admit to wondering if you'd got a nasty case of diarrhoea when I saw the thread title!

2 sterident tabs in the bottle, if you use screenwash it has a habit of freezing and then becomes like a jelly muck blocking the pump up, dump two denture descalers in overnight. hth.

That's prob why my don't block up, I only use water in my squirter thing. oops
