    Default Paint Protection Film

just been browsing the web and come across various sites offering paint protection film for vunerable areas..
has anyone had any experiences with it and is it worth it?..
just concerned though, as does this mean i wouldnt be able to polish the bumper etc if it was fitted?.. stupid question.. i think i just answered that question!..

more and more cars are being fitted with this type of film out of the factory. but yes it would mean no more polishing of whatever it is fitted to. but look at it this way, if you polish it before hand, you'll never have to polish it again with the film fitted and it'll remain looking shiny.

The vinyls are quite expensive, cut to specific size for vehicles, and applied by hand
The usual application is to supercars and the like
Typical cost is about £500 for front bumper
