    Default CD removal

Is there an easy way to remove the cd player??!!

I've removed the screws, 'borrowed' a set of removal keys from work and taken out the fake buttons but the thing won't budge!!

2 guys at work have tried, and these are people who remove/fit cd players everyday.........

I've also noticed that the interference on the radio stations gets worse when i press the rear window demister button

The demister/radio issue could possibly be linked to the actual demister maybe?, as the aerial is close to it. I'm sure the wiring for the two of them runs together at some point - could be interference from the demister wiring, which there's a fault in?

Am i best to check it out myself first, then let the dealer know?

They aren't a VX dealer but would they be able to fix any problems, should there be any?

Depends on how confident you are fiddling around with wiring looking for any problems. It could just be the switch as already mentioned. If you're not up to having a dig, then you at least want to get an auto electrician to have a look if it's bothering you that much.

The interference on the radio wasn't bugging me that much, but now i've noticed it gets worse when the demister button is pressed i'm starting to worry it may start a fire as the rear demister is on all the time
