    Default 90% Bulbs

I have just put a set of Osram 90% brighter H7 bulbs in the dip beam, I will let you all know what I think of them when I drive in the dark, It will be interesting to see if they are any brighter than the 50% one,s they have replaced. Not a bad morning,s work "eh" washed the car and changed the bulbs and not even getting wet .......... nearly forgot I put some OCD wax on the wheels too, I don,t expect it to last too long but it did not takr long to wax them though.

Put mine in the other day and didn't really see too much difference on dipped beam, but on full beam they made a massice difference I could see a lot more. This may be bo11ocks though as I had put some bulbs in that were blue coated and I couldn't see **** all, so my judgement may be slightly clouded, what a waste of money they were....lol. They are still yellow though, there is no changing it as the ones I took out were superwhite, but made night driving dangerous.

Have a read here fella's they just tested all the bulbs in a light tunnel including range achieved etc. The bulbs they tested were also H7's so direct replacment for us. The Osram Nightbreakers didnt do to well, considering they were 90% bulbs, as the two bulbs were radically inconsistant.

The Vectra's ridiculous headlamp reflector design means that no matter what bulbs you use, you won't get much of an improvement in beam length. It may get brighter, or whiter, but you won't actually be able to see any further

    From the article...

Performance versions have been around for some time, offering 30, 50 and 60 per cent more light 75 metres in front of the car.
75 metres? I seriously doubt the Vectra headlamp beam makes it as far as 75 FEET!

Buy a set of Philips Vision Plus and compare
Yes, they will cost you about £25 for the full set, but well worth it

I have the Philips Xtreme +80% jobs in my full beams, and they're damned good. Better than the crappy Halford's blue 80W jobs I had before (as confirmed by Autoexpress).

4200K HIDs in projector style dips (FK angels).
