    Talking BSR Stage 1

This is my first attempt at a write of any kind os excuse my poor english skills as I was **** in that subject

Finally had enough money to buy the stage 1 for my car after months of waiting, although was initially disappointed stage 3 wasn't available. Ordered it at 1500 Wednesday from Steve at LMF and arrived on Friday morning so great service from them.

Took no time at all to get it all ready and was straight out getting the setup put on the car. It was the longest 51/2mins I've ever had as it re-programmed the ECU. The car started as always and immediately the difference was obvious, even going slow the slightest touch of the throttle should there was a lot more torque. To start with once I got on the dual carrigeway there wasn't the huge increase I was expecting and thought I was going to be disappointed, but once it was just myself in the car I could give it some beans and OMG did it have some F'n beans

The more chance I've had to drive the better it seams to get, passing is no longer a struggle as the power is immediately available, no having to wait for the turbo to spool up it's now happening in an instant. I now look for cars to pass just rather than worry if the gaps big enough. 3rd and 4th have to be the best gears, the kick you get from the turbo spooling up is amazing it really is like driving a new car. The speedo is constantly climing and doesn't stop, the torque curve is now so much better, you can feel the boost hanging on through the revs instead of tailing off very early like it did with that standard set up.

So far I've had a play with a few cars, the best being an Audi S3 late at night. He initially tried to pull away from me until he realised I was going no where, then as I passed him he dropped it a cog and attempted to stay with me, but gave up in the end He had another go after that, but he was getting no where, this is what made me the happiest, knowing that Mr. Audi's expensive car is being shown up by a little old Vauxhall Vectra and I'm sure he wouldn't have been happy

This is what VX should have gave is in the first place and it's been said plenty of times before and the GSi had to be the flagship, but not for the first time VX have made a bad choice.

Stage 1 is a huge increase over standard and I can't imagine what a Stage 3 car feels like, but it must be like a rocket. In hindsight I am happy that I never got Stage 3 as I will be able to enjoy this for a long time and make that jump at a later date and with the money saved the handling is the next hurdle to take and then I can take full advantage of the power the car now has.

I would like to feel the difference this makes to the oil burners as if it's anything like it did to mine it will be awesome. I can't recommend this enough to Turbo owners, it's a must have and you wont be disappointed it really is awesome.

    Do ya think he's happy?!!!

Nice write up Mark, and glad you're enjoying it.

As for Stage 3, as I said before, as you're not too far away if you ever wanted to meet up for a shot of mine before you take the plunge, you're more than welcome.

Will definitely take you up on that offer, hopefully will meet you at some point next year at one of the meets Shame I'm not going home over X-mas and Hogmany as I could have met you then, but little ones too young to travel 400miles yet.

I can't speak for Angel Tuning, but this is awesome and plenty of owners to back it up. The main thing about it is how the torque curve peaks and holds there without tailing off so there is constant pull pinning your neck into the back of the seat

BSR does sound the way to go for no other reason than the positive feedback on this site.Mega impressed with the delivery times and had some contact with LMF recently after they sent me the same e-bay item twice!
    Local(ish) to me too.
Question:where do you plug this in? New car to me and im slowly working my way around..

Under the ashtray, just pull out the ashtray and plug it into the tech 2 port and press enter a few times.
