Default Just finished building my new bike....

....and I've got some bits leftover.

Does anybody know where these are supposed to go?

There are two of them each about 3cm long.

They are metal , have a thread running all the way through and on one end of the outside. The loctite was already on them.

And this is the bike minus whatever these things are.

They are the 'What the f**k are these bits'.

A few of those are put into every bike package to make people stand back and do what you have done!

    Nice bike though..!

I was gonna say they look pedal/crank related. Are the threads opposite to each other? i.e. one LH and one RH?

Bit of a guess....but do they attach to the frame to stop serious damage when it slides down the road. Similar to a motorbike.

The threads on the outside are the same way. I'll check the pedals. Thanks D.

Hmm, could be there are holes and screws all over the frame. I'll go and do some investigating.

Have a look at the ends of your brake cables. They are possibly spare adjusters.
If no then my first post stands..
