lost multifunction button functions

I sent my Signum 2.2 , direct injection, year 06 in for service and when I collected it, the radio multyfunction button did not respond when in the SETTINGS menu mode (I used to move cursor up or down by turning knob R or L and confirming by pressing in). Can anyone help to recover this option?

I would try the garage who did the service if it was working before you took it to them then it should be now .... should`nt it ???

unfortunately they say it is impossible to have this option. Thats why I need someoene's help in case anyone has encountered such situation.
In the Owner's manual we can see the use of this option but no information if it can be cancelled or aplied. Thanks for your help.

Disconnect the battery for two hours min, should reset everything.

Do you know if they updated some car software? or resetted something?
How can they say its imposible to have that feature if you used to have it!

It must work like you described. How else would you move between the different settings?
But... are you sure you were not in the ECC-settings menu?
