    Default carbon headlight covers

    hi does anybody know how to fit the carbon headlight covers? the instructions were no help what so ever? do you have to take the bumper off to fit the lip underneath the headlight? thanks in advance

    No bumper removal necessary.
    The plastic nut needs pushing into the metal bracket (square hole).
    With the bonnet up, there is a rubber / plastic strip on the top edge of the lights. The metal bracket fits under this rubber, with the nut sitting on the front part of the headlight. The bracket hooks onto the back part of the light.
    Rubber snaps back into position, the headlight protector then pushes into the bottom first. This fits between the bumper & the headlight & has some resistance because of the sealing rubber. The top part of the protector is then held in position with the screw into the plastic nut on the bracket.

    If you want I can sort some photos in the morning to show what I mean.

    yes if you could post a picture that would be great cheers. so the bottom just needs abit of brute force to push it in?

    be gentle but firm when putting the bottom part in cos it can snap quite easily, as i found out.
