    Default Rear Pads?

Is £26 inc vat on trade a good price for rear pads for my design 06'er? Aftermarkey VX pads and not OEMs, they said i wont get trade prices on OEM ones?

    Any thoughts?
i assume aftermarket will be ok on the rears?

Jesus are you needing rear pads already? How many miles have you done?

I fitted Mintex pads for less than that, and they have always been better than OE in the past.

If you can get them, Apec do good pads for the money. Have them all round on the Astra.

The Astra eats rear pads quicker than fronts..62k on the clock the back is on it's 2nd set of discs and 3rd set of pads, front on 2nd set of pads and discs.

Yep, Apec are good too. They're the OEM pads on the 314mm set-up i.e. GSi / 3.0 CDTi. I've got them on mine as I upgraded from my 302mm set-up to the 314mm and they work very nicely indeed (the pads).

Yeah, but they're ****e IMHO. Too hard, just eat the dics, and still don't work well enough when cold.
