Speaker size.

I'm getting a new Pioneer DEHP70BT head unit and want to upgrade the speakers in my GSI.

Might seem like a dumb question but what are the standard speaker sizes for the GSI? I can't find it listed anywhere and don't want to start taking the door apart until I have to!

Thought someone on here might know.

Also, any advice on the best speakers to fit?

hi m8 the fronts are 16.5 cm not sure about the back i think there the same but someone will be up shortly put you right

Hi Russ, as David said mine are 16.5 cm.If you are upgrading then i sujest Pioneers and upgrade the tweeters to pioneer also, the sound with that head unit is FANTASTIC...when you have installed it all ,check this out (click on the 70bt head unit on the left-hand-side of the page...)

Best sounding speakers I've ever owned. Prices range from quite affordable to "How much!". Find a dealer and make some enquiries. I'm sure they'll be thinking what wonderful taste you have.

Oh Yes, Oh Yes....DLS subs and amp in the boot already. The door replacements will also be DLS for me.
