    WHY ON EARTH IS THE ALARM SIREN SO QUIET?
    CAN IT BE CHANGED FOR AN AFTERMARKET ONE?

    WHAT, I CAN'T HERE YOU????

    It is as quiet as a quiet thing on a quiet day aint it matey. I believe the siren can be changed.

    I didn't think the siren could be directly replaced? I thought it was part of CanBus? I'm sure you can add an additional siren, linked into an aftermarket kit - I think that's what GreenGrowler did - and have that running alongside the standard siren.

    Yes It can be replaced with no probs....just take old one out and replug the new one

    Yeup! I bought one in a a Halfrods kind of store here in town and plug it ...its a little bit louder then the original...but not enough....I need to find something with lets say...more punch

    Ah, that is very interesting to know! I was convinced I'd read it wasn't possible to do due to CanBus stuff.

    Don`t know how CanBus is realted or could be (ignorant in that sense)...but as far as I know is like changing the speakers of a car.....
    If you unplug the existing siren you`ll see the specs on it...one is voltage which I`m almost shure is 12V. and there is other thing...might be watts but cant remeber....when you buy an after market one, just make shure has the same specs with more Db`s.....plug and play kind of thing
