    Default Keeping Bodywork clean.......

    Hi all,

In these bleak winter onths, the poor car gets covered in cack (i live near docklands) and its a sod to wash off easily. Any suggestions as to what products get the best results in terms of cleaning power and shine?

I recently ran out and bought some car shampoo from Tesco. It was only a couple of quid, and i thought it would do until I next passed a halfrauds or something.

I used it the other day and I was really impressed! Got a serious layer of crud off the paintwork with very little effort, hardly any scubbing needed. Smells all nice and fruity too

It's not a wash'n'wax though, so I followed it up with a spray wax for protection & shine.

Tesco's own brand, red/pink shampoo in a 1L bottle with a dark blue label.
