Found out today that an induction kit for my 2.2 DTi is £98. Less staff discount it works out round about £83

Good price, but they don't really work on the 2.2 DTi. If you're that way inclined, bung a panel filter in it, Personally, I'd spend £90 on something else fr the car!

I speak form experience, by the way.

I honestly haven't got a clue about all that..... don't know how i managed to get a job at Halfords!!!

Suppose i'll get to learn all about it though.

A few guys said it's pretty pointless putting one on a DTi anyway

You replace your airbox with one of these.

whats wrong with just using their panel filter, and breaking off the plastic restricting the air flowing over it on the base of the air box?
surely using one of these must invalidate the waranty?

It shouldn't do but the dealers may get a bit funny. As said chuck a panel filter in.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Technically a panel filter could be classed as non GM and invalidate the warranty.

so you take it out before it goes in. It may invalidate the warranty but not on all components. Thats if they find it
