    Default Travel Assist

My local VX Dealer has a Travel Assist for £50 quid.....which I think is a bargain. Its Dark Grey in colour and has the leather top.

I don not know too much about them, I think it has the base. As the top, big rectangle bit comes off and leaves an electrical connection behind.

Its marked as suitable for both vectra and signum. what's required to to fit it and how easy is it?

The base for the TA is different for the vectra and sigbum so you'd need to see if they will give you the appropriate base.

dead easy to fit, but make sure its the correct year for your car, they changed the shape for the later models so it might not fit, the fixing kit are around £26 from the main dealer, but follow the instructions in the how to section, wiring takes about an hour to complete

I don't think they changed the TA: I compared mine with the one in a (Belgian) prefacelift Signum and they were exactly the same; idem dito when I saw pics of Duncan's earlier on the forum.
However they dropped the connections for the Twin Audio (only two connectors present for the power sockets as standard)
