    Default Panic

Hi folks coming home tonight a light came on it looked like watering can. But after reading the book it was oil pressure low. So after getting the right oil I found what can be describe as a Creamy Coloured sludge on the under side of the oil filler cap and in the pipe for topping the oil up. Should I panic.

there has been a previous thread on this, i see you have a 3.2 v6. do you do short journeys, as it may only be condensation forming in the oil filler tube causing the oil to emulify. i have found this in my 3.2 v6. if you get the engine good and warm it should get rid of it.is there signs of oil in the expantion bottle or water droplets on the dip stick, these are signs of the head gasket having blown.
i think some one said in the previos thread that it was common for the 3.2 v6 to have condensation in the oil filler tube but it is nothing to worry about.

I am traveling 40 miles a day to and from my work. I did notice it when i first got the car and checked the oil at about 11000 miles and there was a very small deposit but since checking it again I have found more deposit but my car has done 25000 miles now and I dont think I have used any water?

i wonder if anyone else with a 3.2 v6 could write in and let us all know if they have the same problem and what sort of miles they use.
