    Default Some ebay advice

OK people, on Saturday I sold my PS2 and stuff.
In my listing I required payment within 48hrs of auction end.
The buyer requested total invoice amount at auction end and since then....
    nothing!
I have sent two messages and still heard nothing.
I have just sent one asking if they want it or not and pointing out that I required payment within the 48hrs.
So what do you think I should do?

you made it clear you needed payment with 48hrs if he can not do that and is not answering messages then **** him.
you should maybe try and contact ebay first just to explain incase they try and mark you as a bad ebayer

If you've stated 48 hours then stick by it,they see you're not bothered about payment now they might never pay, makes me mad that......

I think you have to wait a set time before you can complain to ebay.. But if you buy something on ebay its only polite to pay asap if you are serious about buying the item you've bid on and won.. If the 2nd chance offer was close i'd wait a day or so and send the offers to the relevant ebayers..

You have to wait 7 days to register a unpaid item. I have just done mine today, no contact from buyer.

Just like to say that some people lead sad little lives and it hasn't bothered me on the least......................

i filed the unpaid item thing yesterday for my item from an earlier thread. i waited the 7 days anyway. first time ive had a problem selling, 3rd in all. one was for a storm watch. woman said she posted it etc then asked her for tracking number but she didnt give me one. eventually opened a dispute and low and behold, i recived it 2 days later. IT WAS POSTED THE DAY BEFORE IT ARRIVED!!!! just left feedback saying it arrived. other one was with speedsafe group for the parking sensors overcharging me on postage and not sending it as they said it was then they called me a liar!

    It really bugs me.
I put on the listing payment within 48hrs.
Why do these people bid if they dont want/cant be bothered to pay up.
Ebay is becoming more grief than it's worth!
Anyhow I've sent an email to ebay to see what their take on it is....
No doubt they'll tell me to be patient and wait a week.....

He he just looked at poll result so far.........militant lot these Vec-C'ers...Great!!!!

I think you should wait a few days.

Is it a paypal only auction ? if they are paying you by cheque the earliest they could post it is today. If they don't mark it as payment sent you don't know, a cheque could arrive in tomorrows post.

A 48hrs request is a bit too soon IMHO especially if an auction finishes over a weekend when people are busy doing whatever.

If the PS2 is an xmas pressie for someone, the buyer might find it difficult to get on the PC in secret and pay on the quiet

Yes it was Paypal only, but good point there.
