    Default Pioneer Avic x1r

While i was out with the camera, Took some pics of of the recent ICE install,

Pioneer headunit, with DVD player, Sat Nav, Mp3.

    Ipod adapter

Rear view camera, ( Automatically switches when in reverse gear )

    6 CD autochanger

    voice recognition pack.

brains for the sat nav are installed under the front passenger seat. all cables to the rear run through under the doors, and the head unit is linked to the brains via a cable running through the transmission tunner. took 2 days to install. most time consuming was finding the canbus cable, the handbrake sensor and reverse light wire.

I will not be removing this install anytime soon

    £1500 all in.

I have supaglass tints by pentagon, the window can be shattered but it wont give way, hence no entry to the car. also the head unit is screwed to the dash with special screws, so it will take alot of time and effort to remove without the proper screw attatchment. also the unit is useless without the brains, which are well hidden and practically screwed into the chasis.

Excellent install. I had one of the original Pioneer fold out units in my Merc ages ago.
