yep these are just the standard H7 bulbs, just unplug the old and plug these in simple. Well if u aint got the V6 and big hands like me then its a sod lol.

ended up removing front bumper, unbolting the lights and doing that way, saying that only undid the 2 bolts on the wheel arch and the stud by the head light and pulled bumper forward to reach the bottom bolt on the headlight, replaced bolts then did other side took 20 mins

Are there any problem with these higher powered bulbs melting lenses in the headlights? I've always wanted a whiter light, but been worried.

    Cheers

    Default hid????

The bulbs may or may not be great but the advert is misleading. 8500k halogen bulbs will be dull blue and worse light output than standard.

It refers to xenons ( which is a gas included in the bulb, fair enough ) but also refers to the bulbs as HID- which is a completely different operating system requiring different bulbs, wiring and ballasts.

I assume these are standard halogen bulbs, in which case they might look nice and blue to look at but won't light up the road.

Any bulb with a blue coating will perform worse than a clear bulb.

Found the best halogens to be philips extreme 80+ but still not great so fitted hids4U ultimate kit which uses HID technology and is very good

Interestingly- it retails at £250 but if you enter TOYOTA ONE in the discount code box you get £50 off!!
