No front brake pads only
Visual inspection required for rear brake pads
Typical replacement interval is about 30K to 40K miles
as it starteed yesterday would i need to change discs u think?
I got them checked and its the pads that need doing
are they easy to change? not very mechanical
From memory the rear brake pads are a NIGHTMARE, and you will require a special tool to complete this
You may find that your local VX dealership have a strange cheaper fixed price of about £60, which includes parts and fitting, but sadly that price does not apply to my 3.0 V6 CDTI!
If you buy the parts from Vauxhall, it's cheaper to buy the discs and pads together, than it it to buy the discs and pads separately.
As for changing, it's mentioned in the How2 section. http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=15092
