    Question Thermostat replacement

Has anyone replaced a thermostat on a 1.9 cdti 150 engine, looks like it's on the right hand side of the engine,an aluminium one piece cast unit with the temp sender on top.just wondered if it's a lunchtime job to do in the workshop? How much are they. Thanks

Interesting - i was looking to do the same thing today and thats the only place where i could see the stat being

Reckon there're gonna be around the £25 mark cause that's what one for my old 2.2 was,may even have to have the housing on this one aswell

Will pop in to the Stealers on Sat to find out although i shouldn't think they will have a clue....

Cost of the parts is around £31. The Housing and thermostat are one piece, held in with two or three torx style bolts. The housing lives at the top right hand corner of the head, just below what looks like some sort of fuel pump.

Should take about 45 minutes or thereabouts.
