Paul, just looking at the diagrams - just trying to suss how this fits? Does it fit to the side of the boot? Are there a couple of hooks/eyes you need to fit?

Don't want to get it all out D, but looks like it fits the rear of the seats and the side panel in boot. All mounting gear is bagged with it. Not seen one before in action, don't know if you have?

No, I haven't seen one in action, that's why I was wondering. The Vx Accessories site doesn't show any pics. Just says..."Multi-purpose elasticated net that can be used on the rear seat back or the luggage compartment's rear panel or sides. When used on the sides or rear panel, two additional hooks are required (supplied) which can be fitted in minutes."

I thought it just hooked to the four D loops on the floor to hold down anything large, and would have it if it was, but the description has left me confused! lol

It's not for holding things down D, it's for mounting to the sides to hold maps etc.. bit like what's on the tunnel console of the Meriva's and Zafira's.

    HTH,

    Paul.

Yeah, I looked at the diagram and I can see now - still can't suss where it physically attaches in the back.

Tell you what, I'll have it anyway as I think it could be useful. If I find I don't want it then I'll sling it back on here or ebay.

Duncan, I bought & fitted one of these nets, I don't always use it.
Not sure if part number is the same.
I'll try & sort a picture of how it's positioned.
But if you look at this photo you will see the hook you have to fit out of the kit.
You get 2 hooks, 1 for either side, or you can put net front to back using loop for seat back.

Picture of the net I fitted Duncan:

The hooks on the bottom of the net clip onto fixing loops in floor
The loops of the net fix to the screw hooks shown earlier
The top part of the net opens to put items in, bottom part is fixed

Cheers Ian - the only bit I'm now unsure of is screwing those hooks into my car! Hmmm.

Duncan, originally there was a plastic rivet / plug there. In the instructions it tells you to remove plug & drill slightly larger. Then you put hook in & as you tighten, the rubber piece in the hole expands to keep tight.

I only fitted 1 hook but there were 2 in kit, if you wanted to, the net could sit across boot.
