    Default Map light buttons.

Just fitted the map light centre binnacle in my roof (in place of the standard single light).

I now have 4 buttons instead of the 1; its obvious which are the switches for the map lights, and which one controls the main light (the circle with the I in it) but what is the upside down sunrise button (3rd from the right as you look from the drivers seat) supposed to do, do i need to wire something else up??????

i think that switch is to turn the interior light off when the door is open. thats what it does in mine anyway, but i have only got the standard interior light in.

I was hoping it was to operate the rear interior light remotely, but no such luck.

I've just spent 20 minutes in the car trying a few things and you're absolutely right, its to stop the int light coming on when the doors are opened.... can't see the point of that but I spose it would come in handy if I ever wanted to use my car for covert ops!!!!!!

A little nervous cutting a hole in my roof lining but they look factory fitted!!!
