    Default CDTI - LPG conversion?

Further from the "mad prices!1" thread, where the discussion turned to LPG: -
Has anyone here converted their CDTI to run on LPG? Is it even possible with this engine? I've read elsewhere that it can't really be done on diesel engines, but other information is on the contrary.

lpg is a goer but it runs 50/50 with the diesel so its going to take a lot longer to pay itself back
but there is a plus you get a massive power boost with the lpg

the cost when i looked into this was £1700 + vat

Just did a search, it seems more common on LGV than cars. Some say its possible, others say its not

That was someone with a 3.0 cdti but I can't find the thread. I think the thread also had some mixed responses!
