how to get into the rallying scene

as above, the young un is really into wrc and is begging me to take him to see some action, now i know the big boys are only up here a couple of time a year but how do you find info on the lower classes ,ie amateurs and classics etc
all the viewing points seem to be in the middle of a forest or somewhere so how do you know whats going on and where? tried searching the net but cant get anything nailed down, anyhelp much appreciated as he,s doing my head in about it lol,

Pick up a copy of Motoring News for starters, and look for a local motoring club as they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Do a search on 'British Rallying events calender' will tell you when and where etc. Most will be club events but you just pick and choose what you want to watch. Main thing is that you enjoy yourselves and remember, you usually walk miles in the cold, wet and mud !

thats the bit i,m not looking forward to
