    Default Custom Dash DVD Player

I've finally completed my custom DVD player facia for my Vectra.

It's a double din sized DVD/TV/MP3/Camera/Radio system with front USB for external MP3 player and digital camera connection.

I custom made the facia so that it blended in with the dash. I got a double din sixed facia for the Vauxhall Corsa (only because I got one cheap) but it was a different shape at the front, it stook out to a point, so I had a file down the front to make it flat.
I took off the front of the DVD player, and glued the facia to the dvd player. I then used some filler to fill in the gap between the facia and DVD player, and then smoothed it off and colour coded the whole facia.

I'm impressed with the results, and it looks less appealing to theives as it looks like it's part of the car.

It looks so much better in the flesh. I took this picture before I lowered the stereo slightly because I'd secured it in place slightly high.

    What do you guys think?

For what it is, it was a bargain.

£150 approx (just less) for DVD player
    £10 for facia
then some car body filler, and paint, and a lot of patience.

I'll get some better pictures because the flash made it look bright in that picture above.
