getting dual exit exhaust soon .want to change the rear insert .how much is it to spray the vxr insert .the normal sri one is £55 +vat a bit over the top not sure about the vxr one though

its the price of the paint as it is all water based now so the prep the part prime it and then paint it stright after now as wet and wet .

think i have been mis-understood.want a rough idea of price to paint the vxr insert .the £55 is to buy the normal insert sri from vauxhall .the vxr one is £25+paint .so basicly is it more than £30 to paint the vxr insert on a budget of the wife for christmas for the exhaust

paint it yourself mate, with rattle can's from vx or a nice satin black like mine

not easy but not hard at the same time just akward........

i got the black satin paint from my local motor factor's and i didn't bother to laquer it as it came out great, vxr part ready primered so just a rub down with 1000 grit wet and dry, wipe clean then apply the paint, all done in about 20-30 mins, leave to bry for a day or so and then the wrestling match begins

its a gift, i jus sprayed my insert and lower spoiler but then again i used to work in a bodyshop, the centre insert comes primed so jus needs flattened with a bit of 600 wet & dry then a few coats of paint and if its metalic give it a lash of laquer
