    Default Bad News!!! :(

On my way to work yesterday morning 0630 am driving at a slow pace approaching my turning when i hit a patch of ice causing the beloved Vec to slide and send me over the Kerb turns out 4 other people in work did the exact same thing. End result i ended up with a Egg in both nearside tires luckily enough the wheels didt even have a mark on them

Ended up costing me 75 quid for two tyers and wheel balancing, Not bad aye just before christmas thats all i need.

Yikes! At least you didn't smack the kerb with the wheel, - that could've been new wheel(s) and suspension damage. Did the same in my last Astra - crawling along on an icy estate road and still the car slid on one corner and the wheel smacked the kerb - new wheel and a few suspension components!

i would of phoned the local council to see if they grit that road you all had a little slide on and see if they will pay towards the bill.

could of been a lot worse if you was going faster

They do grit it. Any one from Liverpool will know it, Its Ormskirk road the road that passes Aintree race course. I was gutted at the time but oh well it happens i suppose.

Did you get the tracking checked when they fitted the tyres. If not you need to keep an eye on the wear or the car will eat your new tyres.

Got my orginals put on the front and part worns on the back and got it all balanced and tracked should keep me on the go till i can afford to spash out. I might even use my christmas bonus and get me some snow flakes haha.
