Strange Radio Tuning Problem

Hi, wonder if you can help iwht this strange problem. The CD/Radio on the 2.2 SRI 2003 Vectra C is doing something really wierd, it will not tune into even number

i.e. If I want FM 102.4, I cannot get it!! If I want FM 99.3 I can get it now problem

Can someone help please?

Not sure what radio you have - is there an option in the settings to adjust the step size when tuning?

Can you auto-tune in using RDS data instead of the frequency?

Not sure what radio, will check later. Autostoring using RDS does not pick up any of the stations on equal frequencies either

Have looked through the manual and there are no options to choose the step of the frequency either, very weird??

Try turning off the RDS and you should be able to then scan manually.

Hi mate, thats the problem..... When you manually tune it will only use odd numbers

i.e. 99.3 - works fine. 102.4 does not work

If all else fails, pull the fuse (to disconnect the power to the stereo) and reconnect again to see if that then resets it.

MAKE SURE you have the security code first though.

If the stereo has the 4 disc cd changer and tape deck, then it's *probably* the CCR2006 that's fitted.

Right pulled the fuse (then lost it down the side of the trim)

Got a new one and tested, radio still only tunes to odds as described above. Did not check the radio type however its the unit with a single cd player, RDS TP etc etc....

Any more ideas?
