    I am, I am, I am!!!

I'm an MSA Licenced Rally Marshal... only do rallies as I'm not all that interested in circuit racing. Rally Marshalling is sometimes a lot more hectic than circuit as you have a lot less equipment on your side (fences etc) to keep the spectators off the stage.

I do two or three events a year and have been doing it for 7 years now. I'm starting to get all my kit together (wet weather gear etc) ready for the WRC in South Wales in 2 weeks time.

I'm a member of my own little motor club, and we tend to go away as a team and marshal at events so we all know each other and know how each other works. For this years WRC we are taking a team of 10 Marshals and will be running at least one junction (control area) on each day of the WRGB.

Its a cracking way of enjoying motorsport at very close range and i'd encourage anyone to have a go. Just get onto the MSA website, find your local club, and get stuck in!

BRMC is a good club to be a member of for beginers... they have marshals all over the country and run training days etc.
