    If there is stitching all the way round on the inside of the wheel it is definitely leather. I am under the impression that VX leather steering wheels and gear knobs are real leather.

    Never mind peeps (thanks for the replys )....I lost the bid
    Something obscure was happenning I was competing for that F*c*ing s.wheel with another person and no matter how fast I was trying to beat the bids, he was always one step up...like an automatic bidding system or something....have you had a similar experience?

    If he's set his maximum price to more than you were bidding then it would automatically bid on his behalf.

    But wait a second, now that I think of it I was watching that the minimum bid to be entered...what I mean is....you can always see the bidd that you need to beat...is si not? I`m confffffusssed

    I'd say a definite YES to that, I replacemed my Design leather wheel with a VXR one & that is a 100% better than the original. I also have a plastic wheel to fit on the car when it is returned (having sold the original) & that feels very poor in comparison.

    Oh yes it does. My previous Vectra C, an Active 1.8 had a 4-spoke plastic wheel, and the one on my SRI 2.0T Edition100 is 3-spoke stitched leather one, which is smaller and has much more 'feel' to it.
