Default Male hands are not designed to change bulbs

Firstly hello. Nice, helpful forum with some knowledgeable people around.

Maybe one of you kind gents (or ladies) could answer this for me. I have a Vectra C SRi and was upgrading the headlight bulbs tonight and after removing the covers and the connectors I managed to drop the securing clip inside the engine bay. Of course the undertray stops it falling right through so it is lying there somewhere. No amount of banging is making it come out so my question (with sore hands and blue air) is - can I buy the securing clip at a vx dealer, would they have it in stock and how much is it likely to be.

    Ta muchly.

Do you mean the little wiring springy bit that holds the bulb in?

EDIT: Hang on, those lights haven't got those things. Now puzzled as to what you mean! lol

    Hehe,

    I mean this thingy >>

I can get it from ebay but it is nearly £10 for two and will prolly take a couple of days. Was hoping to pop into the dealer tomorrow and pick one up.

    Will try anyway.

Unbelievable (or maybe not) Vauxhall dont sell these separately. Two parts departments have said that they are part of the headlight unit.

    Got some from ebay.
