I got a new gear box out of them eventualy, but they said there is no warrenty on the new one because i didn't make a contribution !! )

I will name Troops of Leadneham,Lincs , had a spanner light on the dash , took it in and they tech 2'd and said no fault and the spanner light is normal , took it up the road to Charles Warner and they found a fault within seconds of pluggin in Tech 2 which was fixed under warranty and reset the spanner.

While the sales and parts dept are very good, the service dept is rude, arrogant and staff don't understand complexities of Tech'2 electronics. THey also get very annoyed if you question their view on what is needed.

Took my signum in this morning to have the electric folding mirrors programmed in, so supplied an instruction sheet with what needed programming from TIS. (RHD mode etc).

Service dept are convinced it would take 2 hours to program (funny took 30 minutes for my Vec C which they did 6 months earlier). Even at 30 minutes, I know some on here have had this done in 10 minutes.

Sat in coffee area next to service desk and got to listen to 5 minutes of rant and insult as to why they don't like instructions, why folding electric folding mirrors are pointless (I should either fold them myself or get a bigger garage!). Oh and I can go program them myself. I'm not actually expecting the car back working but I'm sure I will be charged!.

In short if you want to try anything from the how to section don't use Marshalls Ipswich. (Given the ~£80 they charge for the tech'2 work you'd think they be happy to do it).
