confused Should I Change My Car!!!

I have had the Signum for over eight months now however I have got a bit bored with the beast and thinking of changing it to a Astra Coupe T9 202 edition from Thurlby.

The main reason is my Sig is an auto an doesnt get anywhere near the fuel consumption of a manual.

I have also started a new job where I live in the car! so I would like something I can throw about a bit but still get good fuel consumption.

As i write this I am waiting for a price on mine from Thurlby.

    What do you guys think?

If you do go ahead and buy it, in 6 months you will be wanting comfort again!

personally I would stay with what you have....I have been there and done that!

Went from a Passat to a Mini Cooper S to a Vectra Design!

    I do about 35K a year...now I have an SRI though...lol

when you give your reasons sounds like you have already made your mind up mate.i understand the auto manual fuel consumpsion arguement and is reasonable.up to personal joice mate but the astra sounds like it could be the moter for you,if the deals right of coarse!! best of luck mate hope it works out whatever you decide.

remember as well the t9s are all second hand astras before they do their bit. Most if not all are pre facelift cars

No, they're all low mileage used cars that thurlby do their thing to. As a result, you will get some that have a couple of extras on (parking sensors, bluetooth etc...) so if you do go for one, try and get a good example.

Yep, they want top book for their used T9`s + a few grand for the mods and offer bottom dollar as trade in .. A few of them have been "used" as demo cars / press cars, I would be particulary wary of the blue sporthatch with gold alloys, it has had a good thrashing !! They are very nice cars though even if they won`t have the same Kudos as the 888`s they did, I would personally go for a 2nd hand one of them, there are a few for sale ...

check the astra site, there is a lad on there made his own version of Thurlbys and it cost ALOT less.

Try and find someone that gets partner discount then you could make one for the same price as a standard sri
